Abingdon Chorale's Harmonious Start to December

Nearly 200 people were treated to a superb Christmas concert on Sunday 1st December at St. Michael & All Angels Church in Abingdon.

Under the direction of Tim Robson, Abingdon Chorale performed a delightful selection of Christmas songs and carols, filling the church with their harmonious melodies. The children's choir joined them for heartfelt renditions of Away in a Manger and Somewhere in My Memory. Adding to the evening's charm, a stunning piano duet captivated the audience, while a reading from King John's Christmas by A.A.Milne brought a touch of literary warmth. The concert was a resounding success, thoroughly enjoyed by all in attendance.

After the concert mulled wine was served alongside numerous cookies, cakes and mince pies. A big thanks to local cafes R&R, Throwing Buns, and Missing Bean for their kind donations.

We would also like to say a big thank you to Tim for all the hard work that went into organising the concert, and to all the members of the choir, the flutists, and the pianist.
