Group work

What is group work?

Group work sounds daunting. It is certainly not for everybody. Group work can be an immensely powerful therapeutic space to understand yourself better. The group is run by our experienced clinical team who ensure the group is safe and focused. We have a maximum of six people in a group.

We run wellbeing groups for ages 13-15, 16-18, and 18-25. The group meets once a week for 1.5 hours for six consecutive weeks.

Group themes:

  • Overcoming your anxieties and fears

  • Adapting to change

  • Developing confidence and self esteem

​

We also deliver bespoke group packages to schools and other community groups. The sessions are focused on the needs of the individual participants.

I soon felt calmer. I learnt so much about myself in the group. I struggled to open up at first but started to feel more confident. Everybody around me including my mum and friends started to notice a difference in me, I felt more confident, less worried what others thought about me. I would recommend TAB to anybody who doubts themselves, you will find most people do and there is stuff you can lean to support you with this."
