1:1 wellbeing support

What is 1:1 wellbeing support?

We have a great team of professional wellbeing practitioners. Our team are highly experienced in supporting young people with their mental health and wellbeing. We can all struggle, we appreciate how daunting it can be to reach out for support.

Who is this for?

We work with many young people who are struggling to manage their anxieties or stress levels, or people that want to make a positive change in their life. Our team are experienced in supporting individuals who struggle with:

  • Drugs and alcohol misuse

  • Managing anxiety and stress

  • Feeling low and struggling with confidence

  • Relationship issues / peer pressure

  • Lack of self-worth

  • Identity and self-esteem

How will they support me?

A wellbeing practitioner will meet with you and explore what support looks like for you. You will have an opportunity to sit and talk about what is going on. This is a bit different to counselling, you may go for a walk, do some art, or have some 1-1 training sessions in the gym. You might even sit by the river and do some fishing, it's what ever works for you!

You will be offered up to 24 sessions with your wellbeing practitioner.

“This support changed my life. I felt so ashamed of my drug use, everything got on top of me, I felt so low and down. I was letting myself down and my family down. I needed a way out. I found the support by reaching out to TAB. It's changed my life. I can see a future now… a bright one.”
